In The Cave A Blizzard (October 10, 2024)

Carpenter’s pencil perched
On marble plastic
Rock, sodden with
The texture of
Blank boards held
Together by butcher’s
Twine, dripping juice,
Oily and iridescent—
The fat livers
Of old men
Come alive speaking
Warnings, tales told
Between rotting teeth
This is the
Cave, there is
The entrance
Super Crimson Hue - Dead Star (October 27, 2024)

High up heaven
Star kill flies,
Dust of Seven
Light gems cries,
Courting morn tide,
"Host Her wake"
Whispered world wide
Sea, stream, lake,
So requiem held
For Nova lost,
Her Thermalists quelled,
Dark bridges crossed
Vessel’s Deep Dirge, Bubbling from Below (November 24, 2024)

Sunk hulking ship the ocean humbles
Dove wreckage from far cast troubles
So salvage law commands her fate
Bowsprit split unto the state
Jib sails and lanterns, beams, guys and rope
The captain’s cloth, the first mate’s hope
All she’s given and provided
All asunder or discarded
Whitecap waves now mark it often
Her resting place—pelagic coffin

Incomplete Printout from a Mechanical Forward Observer (December 8, 2024)

This noble time was so created
To watch as tears spill belated
Upon our metal bodies low
Beheld to help rust to grow
Their creaking seizing arms all stopped
Dull weapons useless, gun-blades dropped
With actions ceased, the smoke is clear
Revealing battle wounds sincere
What nobly caught these gears so doomed?
Where four legs walked, dead flowers bloomed
